DC Wallbox: A Preferred Choice Over AC Wallbox When charging with AC equipment, the charging power is usually limited by the EV's internal converter. Onboard converters are typically rated from 3 to 7 kW. Any additional power an AC charging station can provide remains unused. With the DC Wallbox, a peak DC power of 24 kW is delivered directly to the battery, bypassing the limitations of the Electric Vehicle's internal converter. With the Terra DC Wallbox, you can get 24 kW of power delivery, regardless of whether it is a charged EV model or an AC converter.
