Renault Physical Token is a USB dongle that allows you to perform online programming, coding, and adaptation processes on Renault and Dacia vehicles. It enables you to download control unit data from Renault.net and install it onto the vehicle using the Renault Token. With the Renault online brain programming feature, you can easily complete the process within a few minutes using the physical token.
Features of Renault Token:
With the advancements in technology, maintenance and repairs of vehicles have become more sophisticated and complex. In response, automotive manufacturers have developed various in-car devices and software to ensure precise and secure programming and maintenance of vehicles. In this context, the Renault brand has introduced a physical dongle called "Renault Token" to meet the needs of vehicle owners and service professionals.
Renault Token is a dongle used in authorized and specialized service centers for Renault and Dacia vehicles. Especially in modern cars, due to the complexity of in-car electronic systems, maintenance, repairs, programming, and diagnostic procedures need to be conducted meticulously and securely. This is where Renault Token comes into play. As a hardware used in Renault and Dacia authorized and specialized service centers, Renault Token assists in performing critical operations such as programming, coding, automatic module identification, and Security Gateway Module (SGM).
One of the key features of this device is its design for reliable programming and diagnostic procedures, especially for vehicles manufactured in 2018 and later. In newer generation vehicles, connections made without Renault Token often provide limited access to functions. However, by connecting to the vehicles in open mode using Renault Token, specialized and advanced functions like adaptation, part identification, coding, and programming can be activated.
How Does Renault Token Work?
Using Renault Token is straightforward. Firstly, users need to have Renault's proprietary Clip software and the Renault Clip diagnostic tool. While the need for these tools is lower in older model vehicles, Renault Token is required if the Reprog process (online programming) will be performed on the vehicle. When connecting to new generation vehicles, the physical token device must also be used. After connecting this token device to your vehicle, you can access the vehicle with your Renault Token password and perform various operations.
Which Packages Can You Use with Renault Token?
Various tasks can be performed thanks to different modules offered by Renault Token.
- With the Reprogramming module, brain programming of vehicles can be conducted online. For vehicles produced from 2005 onwards, Reprog enables downloading new software based on the vehicle's part number from Renault.net and similar functions.
- The Auto Configuration module provides adaptation processes when electronic control units are replaced (ECU, ABS, TCU, Airbag, UCH, etc.).
- Unlock Gateway Module (SGM Security Gateway Module) enables advanced programming and coding processes by connecting to new generation vehicles in open mode.
Programming and coding modules specified with Renault Token can be actively used.
For instance, when you replace the EDC transmission module, you can reprogram the new Transmission module online based on its part number. With Renault Token, you can perform tasks such as introducing the Adblue pump process in new EURO 6 vehicles like Renault Master, Egea, and many more.
Renault Token is a device designed to facilitate maintenance, repair, programming, and diagnostic processes for Renault and Dacia vehicles in a reliable and effective manner. It adapts to the increasing technology in newer generation vehicles, offering significant advantages to car owners and service professionals. This aims to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
Note: The IMMO module is not activated. The IMMO section is solely used in authorized service centers.
Token is recommended for use with the ADT program and Renault RNM VI3 hardware. Token may be blocked when used with Clip program. In this case, our company does not accept responsibility.
